Jen Maclean
Chief Executive Officer
Jen got her start in the games industry because she was on her college fencing team. (Seriously. Her coach, who worked at legendary game studio MicroProse, noticed Jen’s devotion to Tetris during road trips, and recommended her for a part-time job as a playtester.) From there she built her lifelong love of video games into a successful career managing development of award-winning games, leading partnerships worth billions of dollars, and creating ground-breaking entertainment strategies.
Most recently, Jen was the General Manager of Creator Partnerships for Xbox, where her team managed Xbox’s largest partner relationships and Jen co-led content strategy for new initiatives. She is passionate about games of all genres, especially the Persona franchise from Atlus, all things Civilization, and Crusader Kings III.
Jen earned an MBA from the Columbia Business School and a BA from the Johns Hopkins University, and owes a huge debt to her long-ago fencing coach.

She is the author of Game Development with Unity, and has served as an Adjunct Professor at multiple universities, teaching game design, theory, and game history.
Michelle holds a double BA from Brown University, and an MFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Outside of work she likes stinky cheeses, stinky sheep fleeces, and making stuff from those things. But not together.
